Located in Healdsburg, California, Christopher Creek Winery is a family-owned, boutique winery with a history of producing handcrafted, estate bottled, award-winning wines.
The first grapes were planted in 1972, and the winery officially opened two years after. Today, Christopher Creek Winery’s annual production is around 4,000 cases. The original vines continue to produce exceptional wine and can be enjoyed as the Reserve Petite Syrah and Reserve Syrah.
The Foppoli family, along with a few friends, acquired the winery in 2012. Christopher Creek Winery sits on over 10 acres of Estate Syrah and Petite Sirah vineyards. The vines in the Dry Creek Valley produce Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Chardonnay. The family has a history in the wine industry dating back to the 1400’s in Italy. In California, they have been making wines for almost 100 years. Through passed down knowledge and experience, Christopher Creek Winery has been very successful and continues to exceed expectations.
Christopher Creek Winery has earned countless awards for its legendary wines. Specifically, their Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc have elevated the winery’s prominence in the Russian River Valley. The family’s primary focus is growing quality grapes and, from there, each wine is hand harvested and crafted by the artisan winemaker. The vineyard is located in the northern part of the valley and produces some of the best Syrah and Petite Sirah in the area due to the warmer climate. Throughout every step of the production process, Christopher Creek Winery ensures that its wine is exceptional.
