DeLoach Vineyards

As a pioneering producer and winegrower of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Zinfandel in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, DeLoach Vineyards has been experimenting with and perfecting the best combinations of soil, rootstock, and clones for over three decades. In 2003, the Boisset family brought generations of sustainable winemaking experience from Burgundy, France to California’s Russian River Valley and pulled up the estate vineyards that had just produced Wine Enthusiast magazine’s 2004 wine of the year: DeLoach Vineyards 30th Anniversary Cuvee Pinot Noir. The award-winning vineyards were replanted with cover crops in order to revitalize the soil and in the meantime, DeLoach partnered with winegrowers equally dedicated to and passionate about eco-friendly farming practices and the production of high-quality wines. Wine & Spirits magazine named DeLoach Vineyards a Top 100 Winery for the twelfth time in the winery’s history in 2012. By Appointment Only.

Merriam Vineyards

Nestled in the rolling hills of western Sonoma County, the Russian River/Green Valley appellation is a perfect microclimate for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Only 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 50 miles north of San Francisco, the site is influenced by the sea’s cooling breezes and drifting fog. That is why Marimar Torres selected this privileged location to “export” the Torres family legacy of fine wines to California. The essence of Marimar Estate is the limited production of cutting-edge wine from its own, organically farmed vineyards while respecting the environment. The core team becomes an extended family where we complement and nurture each other, working together in a friendly atmosphere to position our brand among the elite wines of California.

K Squared Cellars

After spending his first 9 years in the wine industry at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena, Andrew Moore developed a passion for crafting small lot, premium wines. In 2010, with a “the wine glass is half full” type of attitude, Andrew’s plans for owning his own winery began with a single barrel of Russian River Pinot Noir produced at home. With Andrew’s wife, Julie, and 2 young children, Kaylie and Kyle by his side for each aspect of production over the next few years, K Squared Cellars began forming. Intently focused on the task at hand, 5 years and many punch downs later, in 2015 K Squared Cellars acquired winery and tasting room space. That single barrel of Pinot Noir and a dream of having their own family winery was realized!

deLorimier Winery

In creating the new deLorimier wines wine maker Antoine Favero works closely with owner and wine maker Diane Wilson. Both agree that the wines need to capture the spirit of the vineyard. To do this, they use winemaking techniques such as cold soaking and employ traditional French techniques such as pigeage (punch down), remontage (pump over) and extended maceration, utilizing indigenous yeast whenever possible. This elevates flavors and captures the essence of the grapes.  With two award-winning wine makers creating the wines keep an eye on this winery as it is sure to be a huge success.

Christopher Creek Winery

Christopher Creek has earned hundreds of awards for its wines since our beginning in 1974. Without question, our legendary Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc have paved the path to success. Today, we have expanded our portfolio to include Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Viognier, Rosé, and Port. Growing quality grapes is the primary focus in developing great wines, from there, each of our wines are hand harvested and hand crafted by our artisan winemaker, Mike Brunson, to ensure top quality. With the growing interest in the Rhone style wines, Christopher Creek offers the opportunity to taste wines produced from old vines. The vineyard, located in the Northern part of the Russian River appellation, where the climate is warmer, produces some of the best Syrah and Petite Sirah in the area.

Meeker Vineyard

The Meeker Vineyard is truly a family operation. Molly is President and in charge of marketing and accounting (she’s also the Chief Sass and Sarcasm Officer). Charlie is CEO and Co-Winemaker, and also a walking library of stories about the wine business. Molly & Charlie’s son Lucas joined the winery full time in 2007 after graduating from Colgate University. Starting off scrubbing tanks and washing glasses, he’s worked his way up to COO and Head Winemaker. He also does all of our label design and runs the winery day-to-day. Molly & Charlie’s daughter Kelly lives in Bozeman, Montana. Kelly has spent multiple stints at the winery over the years and has cleaned her fair share of tanks. She works full-time in education technology and manages the winery’s social media, website, and marketing. Kelly’s husband, Ty, spent five years total with the winery and served two of them as Assistant Winemaker. The Meeker family takes pride in an unconventional attitude towards wine. As Molly would love to tell..

Hook & Ladder Winery

Hook and Ladder Vineyards and Winery is committed to keeping Sonoma County environmentally sound. We do a number of environmentally friendly things for no other reason than to preserve the county that is our home. Cecil and Christine De Loach have included 118 acres of their vineyards properties in the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. These properties include an oak woodland, which unlike many parts of Sonoma County are regenerating well. Along with our infant oak trees, we do not cut down healthy, mature oak trees, we simply make them an integral part of our vineyards. A number of years ago we started an oak tree nursery to provide an in-house source of native oak trees to be used in our environmental projects. In dealing with the animals that share vineyard land with us we have implemented a number of creative and environmentally conscious techniques such as barn owl boxes and raptor perches which promote natural predator-prey relationships and reduce the need for environmentally..

Bowman Cellars

Bowman Cellars was founded in 2013 by a fifth generation northern California family, the Bowman’s. Alexander Bowman, the youngest member, has brought his wine industry family together to produce wines that express a sense a place from the stunning appellations in which they reside. Alex grew up making wine with his father Doug from fruit off their Sauvignon Blanc vineyard in west Santa Rosa, as well as Zinfandel from their vineyard in Mountain Ranch, located in the Sierra Foothills. Alex and Doug, believe in growing their crops with a soft human touch, so they don’t interfere with the way of nature and sourcing their fruit from local farmers that have the same integrity and style as their own. Bowman Cellars officially launched in Spring of 2017, with a growing wine club and blossoming wholesale accounts, thanks to Alex’s aunt Lisa Crean Bowman who had recently retired after 25 years as Director of Sales from Frogs Leap, the next step was a tasting room. February 1st, 2018 Bowman..

Balletto Vineyards

Founder and owner John Balletto started the business after the untimely death of his father in 1977. At the age of 17, when the family needed him the most, he put their needs before his own and relinquished several college athletic scholarship offers so he could stay home and help his mother, Hazel, run the small five-acre farm. The Balletto family was determined to make the business a success, and throughout the 1980s and 1990s, they purchased parcels of land to gradually increase vegetable production. One of those properties is where the Balletto Vineyards winery stands today. By 1994, the Balletto family had grown the business into the largest vegetable farm in Northern California, growing more than 70 different vegetables on 700-plus acres. More than two million cases of mixed vegetables moved through the premises per year during its peak. After seeing the high-quality Russian River Valley wines crafted from their fruit by other wine producers, John and Terri decided to pursue winemaking under the “Balletto Vineyards”..

Taft Street Winery

The story begins on Taft Street in the Rockridge area of Oakland, not far from the University of California at Berkeley. My brother John was an undergraduate at Cal and I was a grad student. We both were cooking part-time in Berkeley restaurants and became intrigued with the developing food and wine scene. We started making wine and John proved his talents early on. He soon made wine not only for himself but for a rapidly growing fan club of family and friends. His efforts during this time earned him the BEST OF SHOW AWARD at the California State Fair – the state’s highest honor for a home winemaker. With a strong sense of place and of family, we continue in the garagistes traditions, producing limited production, handcrafted wines from select California vineyards. We continue to live, work, and have fun in Sonoma County. As family-owned and independently operated, we look forward another 30 exciting years.
